Ferrell planning Anchorman sequel

The writer/ director of Will Ferrell's 2004 hit comedy 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy' has said that a sequel is being planned.
Adam McKay confirmed that both he and Ferrell will begin work on the follow-up within the next couple of years.
McKay told Collider.com: "I'm looking to do another movie, I might do this other movie called 'Channel 3 Billion', which is kind of this science fiction/Brazil type comedy.
"Then after that, Will and I are like 'let's do Anchorman 2'... so you're talking like two years, maybe we'll do it. But we're going to do it for sure."
McKay and Ferrell previously worked together on 2006 comedy 'Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby'.

Armstrong Dodges Father's Day Questions After Celebrating With Hudson

Latest: Cycling champion Lance Armstrong is still refusing to confirm his relationship with Kate Hudson, despite the pair spending Father's Day together with their kids. The couple has been romantically linked since they were spotted kissing and cuddling during a party at the Cannes International Film Festival in France in May - and have fuelled speculation by dodging questions on the subject, while repeatedly being photographed together. Armstrong and Hudson spent Sunday in New York with the actress's ex-husband Chris Robinson, their young son Ryder and Armstrong's own three children. But when he was asked about his day on The Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday , he smirked and refused to acknowledge Hudson was even with him. Armstrong said, "I hung out. My kids were here with me in New York City with me so we had a brunch thing and then we went to go see this movie the Incredible Hulk."

Hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland, Holocaust were formed in the tardy '70s, and featured singer Gary Lettice, guitarists John Mortimer and Ed Dudley, bassist Robin Begg, and drummer Nicky Arkless. Like many New Wave of British Heavy Metal bands, Holocaust edit out their teeth in local clubs during the waning days of punk rock, earlier finally scoring an independent criminal record deal and issuance 1981's seminal The Nightcomers. Though commercially unsuccessful, the album has remained a favorite of the genre and was by and by cited as a major influence by members of Metallica, world Health Organization covered the song "The Small Hours" from the band's subsequent release, 1983's Live -- Hot Curry and Wine. But the band was already experiencing internal strife and fell apart earlier the recording of 1984's illogical No Man's Land, which featured sole living original member John Mortimer treatment vocals, guitars, and basso, and backed by drummer Steve Cowen. Five days would clear in front the duette (along with bassist David Rosie) resurrected Holocaust once over again, expiration on to release a issue of solid efforts, including 1989's The Sound of Souls, 1992's Hypnosis of Birds, 1996's Strong drink Fly, and 1997's Covenant. 2003 saw the band's work self-possessed on the anthology Smokin Valves

Plugs return to the live fold with sweaty London gig

Plugs, fronted by Does It Offend You Yeah?'s Morgan Quaintaince, played their first gig since their singer's other band took off on Friday (June 6).

Because of Does It Offend You Yeah?'s touring committments, the group have not been able to gig recently, but bassist David Chin told NME.COM that the Camden Barfly show had seen them moving out from underneath the other band's shadow.

We were outside earlier and a guy approached Morgan asking 'Are you that guy from Plugs?', he joked.

"I hope we'll be playing more and more," added Quaintaince. "It's good to be getting our own following."

The show itself saw the band playing for a packed sweaty crowd, that included singer Shingai Shoniwa, with the likes of last single 'That Number' and forthcoming release 'Imaginary Friends' .

Taking various influences in alloy and classical, Germany's Mundanus Imperium clue more towards the complexities of orchestrated arrangements rather than the traditional verse-chorus-verse styling of ludicrous hairsbreadth bands. Consisting of Jorn Lande (vocals), Petter J. Thuve (guitar), Bent E. Holm (keyboards) and Lars Wiik (drums, bass part), Nuclear Blast Records took a beam to Mundanus Imperium song writing try and released their debut full-length "Spectral Spheres Cornation" in 1998.

Infadels, Universe In Reverse

Having come to our attention when John Peel declared himself a supporter, as well as winning a Diesel Award, the London-based fivesome, Infadels, signed to Wall Of Sound and knocked out a cracking debut album with the hoho title of We Are Not The Infadels. Along with ‘sixth member’ and all-round sonic genius, Jagz Kooner, assisting, they combined to create a merry noise that fitted nicely into their dance-based template.

After that initial success, the band became an undeniably exciting live prospect, grooving their stink around the world's venues. Now back after a wobbly couple of years, Bnann, Wag, Richie, Matt and Alex, along with uber producer, Youth, are fighting fit, with an eye on wider vistas than the confines of the dance tent.

Buoyed by the splendidly jumpy, singalong single Free Things For Poor People, which should be the first song anyone will reach for when traipsing into work on a sunny morning, the rest of Universe In Reverse certainly shows a more pop direction. Circus Of The Mad pumps along like a less irritating Hard-Fi, and the likes of Play Blind and Chemical Girlfriend have slight echoes of Snow Patrol. Code 1, on the other hand, would be a cracking set-opener, showcasing their hybrid perfectly.

Universe In Reverse doesn't outstay its welcome, and works perfectly in certain environments. While you're not hurrying to play it again, there's a handful of great moments to revisit. One thing's for certain; Infadels will win over plenty of new friends on the festival circuit this summer.
